My buddy luke seems to be a little frustrated that i dont post enough. I am sorry, i am not big about writing, but when i do i like it.
So my dog was stolen... yes... stolen. I was over at my parents one saturday and my father in law calls and asked if i took my dog to our new place in Marshall. I said...no... and he said that she was gone. I rushed over there to find her gone. Her big stake that she had in the ground, her dog dishes, her dog house, her dog BONES (pathetic)... and of course her. :( I filed a stolen dog report with the police and have heard nothing since. Korah, if you are out there...mommy misses you and i hope you are at a home with lots of kids to pet on you and a cat to torture.....
Now it is time to talk about my foot. I was playing tackle football on sunday and had a fabulous time! Then i played some volleyball and that was fun too, except it felt like the volleyball was a basketball, it was way too hard and everytime i hit it my arm would turn more red. So then i wanted to play a triathalon of sports and decided to play some basketball. They have a hoop set up in their pole barn and we were playing 3 on 3 and the ball was tipped out of somebody's hand and i went to go get it and turned my ankle and it popped really really loud. I was hoping that i didnt break it, which of course i didnt, but i did sprain it and i have to be on crutches for a couple of days. I HATE CRUTCHES!!! Yeah, my sister Sara was always the accident prone one so when she was on crutches i liked to take them from her and just play around and be like "oh you are so lucky i want crutches" curses... they are the worst ever. My arms hurt from lugging this body around and i am very clumsy on them, its kind of embarrassing. They are a very good work out i must admit.
So right now I am missing my big sister Aimee and i need to give her a call to see what she has been up to. I have been thinking about her alot lately....
We finally got a home phone! Shocking I know... Red wings are going to sweep the avalance, my husband is downstairs watching the game.
That is all i have to say for now i guess
until next time (hopefully it is sooner then usual)

A very needed update
I got yet another complaint about updating more! I am sorry guys, I have been extremely busy. So…. Today I am going to give updates, and then….in memory of my buddy Luke who has been gone for a long time, a song recommendation!
How’s life treating me these days? Busy! As you all know, Luke has been gone on vacation, and him and I are the only two here at work that do requests. So what does that mean? It means that I am trying to juggle requests as well as films while he is gone. Do they give me anybody to help lighten the load? NO!! Here at work we keep expanding, and requests should have two full time people on them. We have Luke and I, which, I work full time, but I am usually on other jobs (whatever is behind). So it is usually Luke holding up the fort, unless we are behind. Which, now we are. Oh well I guess, nothing I can do about it.
Our dog Korah has been in doggy jail for a little over a week. I feel so terrible. Cody has been working like crazy as well as me, so we haven’t had time to go get her when they are open. I attempted to pick her up last Saturday, but of course they were closed. Big shocker. Well, don’t feel bad for her, she is in good company of other doggies (probably the kind that are teaching her bad habits) and they feed her every day (probably not Pedigree like we do). Cody is going to go get her today.
So I want to give a shout out to my buddy Paul! He was reinstated last Thursday!!! Dominic was also re-announced as an unbaptized publisher, and Jamie Otis was also! Good job everybody! So that is some good news.
Cody and I love our new place. It needs some color so I am going to go to Lowes today and look at some paint samples; they have a sale on paint! How is Marshall treating us? Wonderfully! We are having a fabulous time and we love our move. We found out that there is a sister (Sister Adella Hinton) that lives just two doors down from us. Her husband recently died of Melanoma, very sad story. So we are excited to have her very near so we can do things with her. I was excited to see her at Marshall Sunday… her normal congregation is Albion.
Now, don’t laugh… but I am in love with a song that my husband introduced me to. It is old fashioned country, and it is slow. The lyrics are beautiful as well as his voice and the music. It is slow. His name is Don Williams, and the song is called “I believe in you”. .I like to listen to it when I do dishes. Take a listen:
WARNING: the video is kind of weird, I just listen to the song

Im married to a meat man!
I have been having a couple of complaints to update my journal more, but I find myself extremely busy between working and meetings and service and packing and driving right now…. But I found some time.
So, today is a good day for me. Not because it is a Monday and the beginning of my work week, but because my husband… after being jobless for about four months now, has a job!!! Yes, he did have one at Tenneco in Marshall. However, he went to orientation, and they had no idea when he was going to start. It could be a week, it could be three months. We can’t depend on that! So… Cody did another job search and he went to the local Family Fare fka Feldpausch. They just lost their meat clerk… and to make a long story short, they were really impressed with Cody and they called today and he is hired! YES!!!
We are moving into our new place next Wednesday, so we are super excited about that too. Right now, we are just full of excitement.
Memorial was Saturday night. We had attendance at the Marshall Kingdom Hall of a whopping 98! I am used to being at Charlotte with attendance of 160-180… but Marshall only has 49 publishers. We had double the publishers attend, that’s great!
That is all I have to say for now, until next time of course (who knows how long that will be)

Its been a while
It has been quite a while since my last post. Thought i would update! So things are going really well right now in my life...
Cody and I are turning in an application for a duplex today! It is everything we have ever wanted and more! 2 bedrooms, a full basement ... not carpeted and drywalled, but cement floor and block walls... perfect for a "mancave" for cody (and a ping pong table of course).
Either way, we HAVE to move to Marshall because the drive to meetings in Marshall, and work in Lansing is alot of driving. Also, Cody got a new job!! In the town of Marshall. He is going to be working at Tenneco, it is a machine shope that makes car parts... exaust pipes and mufflers i think, I am not too sure and either is he. He has orientation tomorrow and then they are going to give him a call and tell him when he is going to start. I guess they start a couple people at a time for the training process.... sounds like a smart company to me. The only downside of this though, is that it is third shift. From 10-6 i think is the schedule. Cody has worked 3rd shift before and he HATED it... BUT if we get this duplex he wont have to commute, it is literally down the road from the plant. When he worked 3rd shift at dowding, he had to drive 20 minutes to work... so i personally think that will make a big difference, we will see.
This weekend i am going shopping with my sisters... we haven't all spent time together in a really long time and i am looking forward to it, it will be fun.
I went to a Detroit Red Wings game Tuesday night and had a blast. They played the Chicago Blackhawks. It was Vickie, Micky, Cody and I ... and we all just had a really good time. LETS GO RED WINGS!! Vickie got to see Bobby, so that was exciting for her.... AND she got to see him shoot a penalty shot. Tim called it the "lamelty" shot because it was pretty lame, he didnt miss the net, but I could have done better. Sorry Vick. Alright i best be going now, until later.

A Need to Change
Yes, if you have been hearing rumors of Cody and I switching halls, they are all so very true. We have been talking about it for a couple months now... and we finally decided to do it. Our house has been up for sale now for a month, hopefully it can sell and we can get an apartment in the Marshall area, that is our goal. We havent told very many people (well of course the elders) just because of the fact that a) We dont want to hear negative opinions... b) we dont want a huge deal to be made out of it. We are only going to be 20 miles away, thats all! So, if you feel dissappointed in us, or if you feel that we are making a stupid mistake, then please just keep that to yourself. If you want to give some words of encouragement.... I am all ears!
Sick of being Sick!
So.... i spent most of my weekend and monday in bed. Yeah... not fun. I managed to get up for service Saturday morning, i had a soar throat. I shouldnt have overlooked it... but i did. I was feeling miserable the whole time and sounded even worse. The second i went home i went straght to bed and stayed there. I had plans to hang out with Luke and Rachel and couldnt even do that. It was very upsetting! Sunday seemed to be the peak, my temperature didnt want to get lower then 101. Had to call in Monday because my fever just wouldnt break. I am here at work today, but i dont want to be.
